Loading files in VirtualDub and selecting codecs. Start VirtualDub by running the VirtualDub.exe file and open a file with File Open (or Ctrl+O). Setting the video codec. This is really important. If you don’t do it, an input clip of 10 MB may result in a 200 MB video. Go to Video Compression (or Ctrl+P) to compress the output video. As far as I know all codecs are back to normal. I figured out the issue with Indeo codecs. K-Lite originally had the 3.0 and 4.0 Indeo series of codecs disabled. I had to reinstall the codec toolkit and enable them. I can now use them in virtualdub and perhaps other software.

Hi,
I operated until recently under Windows-7 ultimate 64bit.
I de-interlace my videos with Avisynth and QTGMC script, through VirtualDub.
All this worked very well, after many adjustments.. in multi-threaded, with 32bit software on my 64bit system.
In VirtualDub, I finished with 'Fast recompress' either Huffyuv or Lagarith with the 'Compression' menu or in ProRes with the 'Export' menu.
I wanted to try the update to Windows-10 Pro 64bit while it is still free..
Do not panic.. I started by making a Clonezilla image of my system disk, in order to return to my old installation of Windows-7, if I get tired of this Windows-10..
Well, I did the update and all my installation is now under 'Windows-10 Pro 64bit.'
I tested a deinterlacing with Avisynth (QTGMC script) through VirtualDub and with export in ProRes, and.. everything went well. Surprisingly, the process ran slightly faster than Windows-7. Interesting…
But.. if I want to instead use a different compression, when I try to open the 'compression' menu under 'Video' in VirtualDub (with or without an already loaded video) VirtualDub stops responding, it is stuck there, nothing to do..
I tried installing a fresh version of 'VirtualDub 1.10.4'; no difference, can not open his 'Compression' menu under the Windows-10 Pro 64bit..
Does anyone has a solution or a different experience of 'VirtualDub' with Windows-10 ?

VirtualDub Review
VirtualDub is probably the most complete video capturer ever programmed. With this application you will be able to capture the video, edit and process the result efficiently.
The most important features included in VirtualDub are the following:

Monitorize and control audio level.
Real time processing, apply filters and smooth output.
Download Virtualdub Windows 10
In short, we can say that it is a really complete video capturer and editor, which will allow us to do everything we want with the video we have captured.
